This here is a free application that lets you optionally perform scheduled backups automatically. It looks like a keeper. If you don’t already have an automatic backup solution, give it a try at Data-backup for Windows, back-up directly to CD/DVD/USB/FTP.

This program I just learned about looks useful to anyone that wants to clean up their computer, whether it’s new or old. It rates the programs on your computer and gives you a rating based on what other people have done with each of your programs. It leaves it up to you to decide what to keep or remove. I have used an android phone for about two years now and I have never used any security on it. However, I have heard of too many people losing their phones so I figured I would give one a try. The most recommended app I found was “avast! Mobile Security.” The reviews are great and I can’t disagree with them. It’s nothing that is “Out of this world,” but I think if my phone gets stolen I am confident I will be able to remotely wipe my data from the phone. I tried this application out and for what it does I am sure it is fine.
